TradeGPT 360 Ai Review Taking the Smart Is Smarter

NZXT h500 detailed inspection

While the previously tested NZXT h700i was a half-turn case, the H500 is a more compact version that interferes with the support of fans and coolers. If you are wondering about the ” i ” not found in the model name, we must inform you that all these covers are available in two variants, where the Non-I versions did not install the smart Module. The H500 follows the same minimalist design approach and looks absolutely brilliant in the White variant we received for review. It also brings with it convenient cable routing paths with Velcro fasteners, which facilitate the entire construction process. How does the NZXT H500 work with only two hoods pre-installed on the lid? Let’s find out.

Outside the NZXT H500

NZXT used sheet steel for the entire body, while maintaining the minimalist design, which is a bit unique for the new H series compared to the older generation. It is also followed by the interiors, which we will talk about later. We like the technique of removing the glass panel, which is much better than corner screws. The top of the panel has a metal strap with clips that fit into the frame of the lid. However, you need to get used to the force required to remove the coating and make sure that you do not spend too much force.

Due to the design choice of the H500, the front panel does not support ventilation for air intake. Instead, the ventilation openings are moved forward to the side wall. In the upper part there is a stand for a 120 or 140 mm fan for the exhaust. The lid comes with a pre-installed one, which is already equipped with another on the back.

The ports on the top fit snugly against the lid and have the purple accent of the NZXT instead of the Blue indicators of USB 3.0. It would have been great if the IO ports had also included a newer USB Type-C port.

We found nothing about the external deficiencies. However, the only area in which we will pinch is the quality of the self-tightening screws. They could have been better and denser. You will experience dust filters wherever there is air inlet or outlet.
